Join Alice and Randy Live in Chile 2016

We leave on May 31 on the Delta overnight flight for Chile for our second four weeks of the CONICYT grant (the first one occurring in March 2015).  We are renting the same apartment (though at a higher price) in Vina del Mar as last year and I will also be working on container port research.  This year I arranged a small SUV to better handle the challenging roads we experienced last year when we went to the hinterlands.

During the first part of our four week stay we will be joined by Fatih Tasgetiren, a man of the world and a long time friend.  He is currently on sabbatical with me for a year from Yasar University in Izmir Turkey.  During the last part of the stay, we will be joined by Ash Curtiss and his lady, Rachel Coleman from Auburn.  Ash joined us last year so knows what he is getting into!

I will be blogging once again to record our adventures with an emphasis on fresh seafood, Chilean wine and Pisco sours.  But, best of all sharing our experiences with our very special Chilean friends and any others we meet along the way.

Join us for Alice and Randy Live in Chile 2016!
